Author Interview (Bhhagya Shalini) by Towards Literature
Interview with Author Bhhagya Shalini
You are retired from the corporate world which is a different Identity than an author's. So, How will you introduce yourself as an author? The author was always there, the awareness led to the true passion. Shalini started writing poetry from a young age and also has written some stories for children for an international publication. She enjoyed writing quotes on social media as “ who’s karma is it anyway? ” Some of these quotes are there in the book. Especially the first one which is very popular, that is “ life is a game best played best with diligence, faith and patience as your team players. It is heard that you started writing at an early age in the form of poems. Why didn't you continue as a poetess then? Poetry is the essence of a rose flower, the smell is a feel good factor. Books are like the complete rose plant. Bhhagya Shalini chose to create rose plants (hahaha), but yes she is going to share the essence too, time and again. Which was your first poem? What was that about? Please share 4 lines of that poem. The old diary that had the poems got misplaced during travels. Shalini always has a lot of science and stars in her poems. One of the poems was about a scientist falling in love. The poem which I vividly remember was written at the age of 16. Sharing the poem here, Solitary is my star, far and further away, Standing tall on its milky way, Shining a million bright, as a guiding light, For one and all on its way and none to call it's own. Oh lord, all day I pray, with it I always stay, Now and forever on its long milky way. In the "Indigo Earth" book, You describe the transition of earth as the coming golden age. Please justify how it can be said? The book in its entirety, explains this transition. All the ages we talk about, or have heard about, are also explained. The golden age is the union of the mind, body and soul. It is the truth and the beauty of living in unity consciousness, that releases us of suffering and the ego self. Turning into self realisation is a different phenomena for every human based on their perspectives. What was yours? Self realisation is being the self. It is not a phenomenon, it may be understood as a lifestyle. The more we let go of the ego self the more we are in sync with all that is. Infinite consciousness is infinite abundance. Faith and patience is all it takes. What were the major challenges you confronted in the journey of becoming an author? The battle within, ego self is the enemy within. It through the subconscious mind controls the mind and body. To be in unity consciousness we have to free the mind and body. Thank You "A Step Forward Towards Literature". |
